Birdwatching:the upward trend in the Ebro Delta

Birdwatching is one ofthe increasing claims in the Delta.

During the autumn and the winter, the rice crops of the Delta receive a wide variety of birds. Due to its warmer climate, more than 330.000 water birds and 350 species can concentrate in this area.

Some of the most common birds in the Delta can be found here. This activity, increasingly fashionable, it is ideal to carry out with family or friends. Thus children will be able to know what the fauna of the Delta is and identify the wide variety of birds in the area.

Where and when can you do birdwatching?

The best news is that anywhere in the Delta you can spot birds.

We recommend you to do it from view points located in areas of natural interest. This way you will respect the fauna and flora from the Delta. Another very fun way is to travel the meanders of the river on a boat, to see amingos or ducks up close.

The best moments of the day for birdwatching are the morning and the evening and during the spring or the autumn. In addition, to carry out this activity you do not need to be an expert since you have the possibility of carrying it out on your own or on a scheduled basis, through the different entities and organizations of the Natural Park.

Either way, birdwatching is a different way to get to know the area and enjoy the Ebro Delta. Do you want to join?
