Ingredients

  • 320 g. Montsià Extra Rice
  • 400 g. chicken breast
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 200 g. mushrooms
  • 200 g. green beans
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • olive oil
  • salt

  1. Place a saucepan on the fire with water, half a tablespoon of olive oil and a little salt. When it's boiling, we toss the rice and let it cook for a few 10 minutes. We drain it well and reserve it for later.
  2. We wash the red pepper, the onion, the carrot, zucchini and green beans, we peel them and cut into small pieces.
  3. We put the wok - a kind of frying pan ideal for sautéing, due to its hot bottom and cold edges - over medium heat and add the oil. When it's hot, add the zucchini so that it is fried and then the pepper, carrot and onion.
  4. We throw the green beans and leave them until they are tender. Then, we cut the chicken into small pieces and pour it into the wok so that it is done together with the vegetables.
  5. When the chicken is browning, add the mushrooms. We let pass 10 minutes and add the rice to the wok so that it is cold and takes flavor.
