With the arrival of winter you always want a good hot and consistent dish, that's why we propose you one of the star dishes of the gastronomy of the Ebro Delta: Rice, cabbage and beans.

  • 300 g. Montsià Bomba Rice
  • 200 g. beans
  • beef
  • bacon
  • 1 medium cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 celery leaf
  • onion
  • tomato
  • oil
  • salt and saffron

  1. First, in a pot with cold water we will put all the meat and beans, that the night before we will have soaked.
  2. Then, to give more flavor to the broth, add a couple of carrots and a celery leaf and cook for about two hours.
  3. Below, we will prepare a sauce with a little onion and tomato and add the chopped cabbage.
  4. By last, add the sofrito to the stock pot, we throw the rice, add the saffron and let it cook everything for a few 17 minutes. We rectify the salt and plating.
