We love betting on the surplus kitchen! And today our chef Mireia Carbó show us how to prepare a Sant Esteve rice to continue enjoying Christmas without wasting anything!


  • 400 g of Montsià Bomba Rice
  • Christmas chicken or turkey scraps
  • stuffing and sauce scraps
  • 1200 ml Christmas or chicken broth
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon concentrated tomato
  • 1 glass of mellow wine or cava
  • 1 zucchini
  • olive oil
  • salt

  1. Make a well-candied stir-fry with the chopped onion, pepper and garlic.
  2. Cut the zucchini into 1-inch cubes. Without peeling.
  3. When it well candied add the tomato concentrate. Add the Montsià Bomba Rice.
  4. Take a walk with the stir-fry and the glass of wine.
  5. Stir in hot broth and crumbled chicken. If you have some of the sauce for roasting and stuffing, also add it.
  6. Season with salt, if necessary, and cook for about 18 minutes.
