The Ebro Delta, a unique place
Did you know this is the third most important delta in the Mediterranean, after the Nile and Rhone deltas? It covers more than 20.400 hectares and the vast majority of them are dedicated to growing rice.
Framed between the Montsià and Godall mountain, the waters of the Mediterranean Sea wash our coastline and the influence of the Ebro enriches us. We enjoy a unique combination of weather, sediment, salinity and time passing… All these characteristics provide the necessary conditions to offer you the best grain of rice. All of this, makes Montsià a product endorsed with the quality mark Protected Designation of Origin.
If that was not enough, the Delta del Ebro is a shellfish, citrus, livestock activities and even more than 350 bird species. This diversity and wealth make our environment one most beautiful and protected natural parks.
