Our healthy eating program reaches its ninth edition!

Did you know that Montsià rice organizes a healthy eating program every year in different schools in Catalonia? It is a fun and playful activity, with a big final prize, aimed at 8-year-old girls and boys.

The activity has an educational and entertaining video in which Monti, our animated grain of rice, explains the different rice dishes that exist and how they work in the Delta.

Later, teachers of each school invite their students to write a free and original story related to rice and a recipe with this ingredient that they make at home. The award for which they are eligible? A fantastic weekend in Delta for them and their family!

Some numbers...

Specifically, there are more than 600 schools that have already participated in this latest edition. In the 9 editions of our healthy eating program, more than 146,000 students have been able to get to know the Delta at the hand of Monti and we have received around 75,000 original articles.

Not bad, don't you think? The truth is that it makes us very happy that so many children have known curiosities about a basic food such as rice.

Although we would like to be able to invite all participants to the Delta, we can only choose 10 young winners in each edition. They have been able to enjoy, together with their respective families, an unforgettable weekend in the Delta.
