Peppers stuffed with rice, minced meat and vegetables are an alternative to the more traditional stuffed peppers and it is one of the healthiest and most complete recipes.


  • 400 g Montsià Long Rice
  • 300 g of minced beef
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of crushed tomato
  • oregano
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • grated cheese
  • 6 peppers

  1. First we put the rice to cook and prepare the peppers by cleaning the inside and cutting off the tip.
  2. Below, we prepare the filling. We put over medium heat in a pan, a splash of oil and add the tips of the peppers, chopped onion and garlic. We cook them some 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  3. Then, add the minced meat. We crumble it with the spoon and mix it with the vegetable while we cook it for about seven minutes.
  4. When everything is well cooked, remove the pan from the heat and add the rice that is already cooked.
  5. Finally we fill the peppers with the rice, tomato, meat and vegetables. We sprinkle some grated cheese on them and put them in the oven for 20 minutes, previously heated to 200ºC.
