These are the winners ofthe 10th edition ofthe healthy eating program!

We have already reached the tenth edition of the healthy eating program! As every year, we have organized the healthy eating program in different schools in Catalonia.

This activity, which is focused on students 3rd year of Primary students, consists of writing a short but very original story.

First class visualizes the video in which Monti, our lively grain of rice, explains the benefits of adopting a healthy and balanced diet, the foods forming the base of the nutritional pyramid and also the rice growing process.

From the video, teachers asked their students to write a story related to rice. In addition, the contest did not end here because the participants, with the help of their moms and dads, they had to explain what rice recipe they prepare at home.

A successful contest

The gures speak for themselves: In this edition more than 600 schools, also, in the last years of the healthy eating program, more than 146.000 students have known the Delta thanks to Monti.

We have read all the writings and each one was special because of the innite imagination and creativity that the participants have. It is a funny and educational method that, from a contest, students learn the benets and nutrients of rice, one of the most important ingredients in the Mediterranean diet.

We would love to invite all students to discover the Delta, but we could only select ten of them. The winners have enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the Ebro Delta for them and their family. There they have been able to see the landscapes of the Delta and have been able to learn how rice is grown.
