Loco Moco is a Hawaiian dish made with white rice, beef, and fried egg, all topped with gravy.
Although one of the most typical dishes in Hawaii is Poke Bowls, Loco Moco is another very popular recipe. It is a cheap dish, rich in protein and very easy to prepare since all its ingredients are basic.
Ingredients
400 g Montsià Extra Rice
½ onion
8 mushrooms
300 ml dark meat broth
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon wheat flour
4 veal burgers
4 eggs
crispy fried onion
salt

Instructions
In a frying pan we poach the half onion together with the mushrooms and a pinch of salt until tender.
Prepare the hamburgers and mix the meat with the onion, add salt and pepper.
For the sauce, add the meat broth, bring to a boil for about 4 or 5 minutes.
Include a tablespoon of butter and another of flour.
Mix everything well and cook for 2 minutes over medium low heat until the sauce thickens. Reserve.
Fry the eggs with plenty of oil.
We serve a portion of rice and on top one of the hamburgers. Cover everything with the meat sauce, onion, mushrooms and the fried egg.
