Pilaf rice is a typical dish of Indian cuisine and from other regions such as Turkey. This recipe is an aromatic rice with spices that can be combined with chicken meat and vegetables.

  • ½ onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic

  1. Grate the carrot first, the ginger and cut the onion and the garlic cloves.
  2. Then, in a pot over medium heat add the oil. Let it heat and sauté the vegetables together with the ginger for two minutes..
  3. We add the rice, we remove it, we lower the heat and leave two minutes for it to fry.
  4. Below, add the chicken broth, the saffron, the curry, parsley and correct the salt and pepper. Add the almonds and raisins and let it cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
  5. To finish, squeeze the lemon, pour it into the pot and turn off the heat. Let the rice sit for five minutes and serve it.
